Device Trouble Shooting

Steps to complete:

1. T
urn device off and then back on.

2.  Log out of Canvas and log back in.

3.  Refresh the page by clicking the circular arrow button near the top-left of your screen.

4.  Camera issue: Try to take a picture with the camera feature. If you can take a picture with the camera, it isn’t a camera issue but most likely a user procedural error. 

5.  Audio issue: Press the headphone button in your Live Lesson link located at the bottom of your screen. It looks like a pair of headphones is is the far-most-left circle of icons at the bottom center of your BBB live lesson window. Let it ask you for the echo test. This takes some time so please wait a moment. 

6.  Camera Issue: If a picture can be taken but you cannot activate your webcam in the live link, follow the same procedures in step 5. Your camera icon is usually second icon to the right and looks like a video camera. 

 If issue still persists:

1. Contact Ms. Smith via email at [email protected] or by phone at 407-445-5475 ext. 315222 to schedule an appointment to assess the device. 

2. Appointments are required and can be made from 9:00am - 10:00am, and from 2:15pm - 2:45pm.

3. 
If those times are not convenient, devices can be left at the front desk. You will be contacted when either device is repaired or a new device will need to be issued.
